Sunshine Horse at Lorenzo
I went to the Lorenzo Driving Competition to see a horse that had been adopted from Sunshine Horses Inc. Sunshine Horses, Inc is a non-profit adoption agency just north of Syracuse which specializes in retraining and rehoming retired Standardbred Race Horses. They will work with other breeds as well. Cindae Wilson adopted Lighting Prince from the rescue. Lightning Prince has been in training and was entered into several Novice Whip Horse Competitions as well as The Pleasure Drive. While I was at Lorenzo, I discovered that another Sunshine Horse adoptee was also entered into the Competition.
