Adirondack Colors

I was fortunate to have the opportunity to get a few days to spend up in the Adirondacks with some other photographers that were also on the quest for some beautiful Fall colors.  We were not disappointed.  Our days were full, waking before dawn and waiting on dinner until after the last light of day disappeared.  We used Long Lake as our Home Base, but wandered from Little Tupper Lake to Lake Abanakee, to the Headwaters of the Hudson and Buttermilk Falls ADK.  (turns out there are three Buttermilk Falls’ in New York).  We were met with cold mornings with lots of fog, which emerged into sunny skies.  The trees were full of yellow, red and orange hues, and the reflections were breathtaking.  here are just a few pictures to commemorate the trip.
