As a pet photographer, I love to to look for unique places to capture the personality of our fur babies. For some of the winners of our calendar contest, I chose the blooming tulip gardens in Franklin Square as my source of inspiration for some of these pet portraits. This enchanting garden provided a picturesque backdrop to showcase the dogs individuality and charm.
Exploring the blooms in city gardens

The city has a few hidden gems amidst the urban chaos. Franklin square is one of those hidden gems. Just a few short blocks from the heart of the city, it is little respite. Picture your furry friend, surrounded by the colorful tulips, their curiosity piqued by the scent of nature in the midst of the concrete jungle. I love capturing their spirit against this contrasting backdrop. Their curiousness against the vibrant hues of the tulips and crabapple trees creates a visual narrative.
Embracing the blooms in the countryside

For those seeking a more serene setting, the countryside offers a sanctuary of tranquility. Imagine your furry friend running freely through sprawling fields of wild flowers, their tail wagging with unrestrained delight. I enjoy watching the energy and joy of dogs in harmony with nature.
The cottage house garden

These charming havens transport us to a world of whimsy and tranquility. The cozy nooks and crannies, the vibrant bursts of bursts of blooms peeking through picket fences can create an idyllic setting to capture your fur- baby. I strive to capture the serenity they find amidst the blooms, creating portraits that reflect the enchanting spirit of the cottage garden itself.
I relish finding new and exciting ways to be creative with the venues we find for our dogs. Blooming gardens offer an enchanting backdrop to celebrate our furry friends. Join me on this artistic adventure amidst the ever changing blooms, and let’s create pet portraits that will forever capture the charm and character of your beloved companions.

Sylvi!

Sweet Sylvi is around 1 year old and was found as a stray. We don’t understand how anyone could not come looking for this love bug. She loves everyone she meets, like to give kisses and will cuddle in your lap. She enjoys playing with other dogs, car rides and lounging on the couch.
