During the consultation for our photo session, I will be asking many questions. I will ask if your dog is a couch potato or likes to play with toys, or play catch. I will also ask if he has any traits/characteristics that you love about him. When it’s time for the session, one of the things that I love to do is get up close and personal to capture these things. Close up images can be utilized for several reasons.
Close up for impact
Getting close up can make a more powerful image by making your dog front and center in your image. This can eliminate any distracting backgrounds to help focus all the attention on your dog.

Close up to show personality
Close up images of your pet playing with his favorite toys or displaying his happy personality really emphasize his personality.

Close up to capture details
Somethings there are certain details that owners love. It is great to have images of these.

Captures the Emotion or Bond with your Dog
The most special ones I find are the ones where your pet is showing his affection or bond with you.

What are your favorite close-up images of your pet?

Meet Tasha!
Tasha is around 3-4 years old and was found a stray in the city. She is affectionate and playful. She is crate trained, house broken, loves to play and cuddle. She would love to be kept active with some older children in the house. She rides in the car well and seems to like other dogs.
