I recently had the pleasure of photographing a canine family of three dogs: Marcus, Gracie and Molly. The dogs were obtained over a period of time over the past several years, but are all alumni of Helping Hounds Dog Rescue. The human companions initially inquired at Helping Hounds for another dog, but came home with Marcus. Gracie came later and most recently Molly. One dog was afraid of linoleum when she first came home, leading the human companions to question if she was locked into a bathroom at one time. One was adopted after a failed prior adoption.
The photo shoot was challenging, related to their black color, but they were so well behaved. Molly, who is the newest adoptee, at first seemed a little nervous with the camera, but soon warmed up. Marcus and Gracie showed off their ability to stand on their rear legs as well as sit attentively.
Once the individual shots were completed, we also managed to get some group shots.
