Pawtraits of Hank and Family

The plans for this photo session had been in the works for 5 months. I had initially planned on meeting and his family in August. His mom had contacted me wanting photos at their favorite place here in Central NY. The problem was that they work most of the year in Texas and are only here during the summer and holiday’s. This is the home though that Hank loves. This is where he gets to run free on their property and explore, so this is where his mom wanted to have the session.

The first session was scheduled in August but was right before they were going back to Texas. Unfortunately, the threat of Covid put an abrupt end to that session. We determined we would reschedule for December when they returned. A sudden thought that it was still hunting season in Central NY resulted in us taking heed and rescheduling again for January after the season ended.

They have a beautiful property for Hank to explore. Hank led us through the woods down past a hunters blind and down to a meadow. We then headed back up toward the house and pond. Hank had some real fun here running back and forth down the trail by the pond.

We finished off our visit visiting the indoor animals. Amazingly, the usually elusive Oatie actually was curious about this photographer and allowed a few photos with his siblings.
