Pluto- Out of This World

This weeks theme in our Project 52 project is Fantasy.  While I love fantasy, I am not used to producing fantasy from my own photography, so this was a bit of a struggle, but that’s also the beauty of this project.  Project 52 helps each of the photographer’s learn and grow as pet photographers.  I took my inspiration this week from my models name.  PLUTO.   Pluto is out of this world, so I wished to portray him as if he was coming from Pluto.  To do this, I took 2 of my own images along with a stock image of an astronaut and with some Photoshop magic, created this image of Pluto.  Let me know what you think of my fantasy image.

Pluto Out of this world

Now a little about my model.  Pluto is a hound and pit bull terrier mix.  He is about 2 years old and has had the fate of being at Second chance for a second time.  He was adopted by someone who thought he was awesome and smart, but unfortunately his owner had an untimely death which resulted in Pluto’s return to us.  Pluto is very focused, learns fast and is eager to please.  He loves to play fetch and get belly rubs.  He would be great in an active home where he has plenty of chance to play.  He is good with children, but would like to meet any other dogs first.
