This weeks challenge is using patterns. For a moment I was pondering what I should do, then I realized I was already working on a pattern. The benefit for Second Chance Canine Adoption Shelter is coming up next Friday and is sure to be a wonderful event to aid the animals. The volunteer’s have been working hard on getting things together for the event and I have seen a lot of wonderful donations coming in for the benefit. I decided to work on a canvas for the event. I wished to celebrate Lisa, who was our longest resident ( 18 month’s before finding her forever home), but I also wanted to honor all the other dogs as well. I decided to make a pattern of all the dogs I had taken pictures of at Second chance and use that pattern to make a mosaic on an image of Lisa. I hope you like the result.

Second Chance’s benefit is Friday May 4th at Drumlin’s ( 6pm-9pm). For tickets click here.
