When I am with a client or at the shelter, I often find it hard to put down my camera. Whether we are actively working on a pose, or taking break our furry clients are forever striking awesome poses. I have been known to “finish” a session only to lift my camera again as we are walking back to our cars. I thought it would be fun to share some of those fun snaps, that were captured in between the regular planned session.
The silly things we do:
From slobbery faces to funny expressions and flying ears, our dogs give us a source of entertainment to put a smile on our faces and relieve some of the stress of the day.

The Fun Times:
Rolling in the grass, mud or snow are some of the favorite fun activities. Some dogs though can’t get enough of their ball, or enjoy wrestling with the other dogs. Thelma and Louise, the great dane puppies had some wonderful wrestling matches.

Heartwarming connections:
The connections these dogs felt with their owners or protectors was obvious. The connection that Nevada the German Shepard may be less obvious. The snoopy dog was her baby- literally-after she lost her own litter. She cared for that baby for weeks, and only let a few volunteers at Second Chance adoption shelter to get near her or her baby. I felt honored to be one of the volunteers she trusted.
